Ten quick cricket questions
As we should now be in the cricket season and with C.S.P (Covid stopped play) I thought a few of you may like a little Essex and England cricket quiz with a slight international flavour to keep you going.
Answers later this afternoon.
Here goes:

1) 4 players that played in last year’s England World Cup Final win were not born in the U.K? who were they and what country were they born in.

2) In Essex’s first one day final win against Surrey in 1979, which 2 Scottish born players were part of Essex batting line up that day?

3) Well over 100 cricketers have represented England that were born outside of the U.K. From which two countries have most of these come?

4) Ryan Ten Doeschate represents which country at cricket?

5) In which European Country was England’s Ted Dexter born.

6) English Cricket’s H.Q, London’s Lords Cricket ground has hosted 51 O.D.I to date but one World Capital has hosted more. Which one?

7 Ravi Bopara scored 101 in an England O.D.I in 2013 at Malahide. The first full international England had played in this country. Where is Malahide?

8) From which Caribbean country did Essex’s great all-rounder Keith Boyce come from?

9) Essex all-rounder Derek Pringle was born in which African country?

10) An Essex Cricketer represented G.B at both the Mexico City and Munich Olympic games. Who was he and in which sport did he compete?
